Day 3 - Dead batteries
I started playing around with the features on my camera, hoping to learn about this new tool I have. I could geek out on it all day, but, like most people, spare time isn't a luxury that runneth over. Just as I was testing the self-portrait mode, the batteries died. Errrrg! No new photo for the day and no new skills. Instead, I'll share a few from a few days ago that make me happy.

The odd looking hen that I think is so pretty
Last night as I was walking on the treadmill, which is NOT where I wanted to be walking (the daylight got away from me and it was the only option) something sunk in a little deeper than normal, like a whopper hit in a pillow fight: I can plan my agenda, but most times, life is organic in its formation. Putting my intention out there is essential, yes, but either I resist the shift in reality and end up feeling totally annoyed, frustrated and turn into a useless control freak, or I can let the resulting manifestation be what I experience fully and with pleasure.
Ahhhhhh, to settle joyfully! While this has nothing to do with a 60's love-fest, Stephen Stills song is chiming in here. Kinda like loving the rain falling in the sunshine and a funky 1/2 breed chicken.
