Day 1

I went for a walk tonight, just before dusk, and brought my camera along, just in case I happened upon something I wanted to capture.  I was almost back home, and  saw the moon rising over the hill beside my path. The light it was casting through the trees was just enough to light my way home.  I couldn't see the buttons on my camera to figure out which fancy new setting to put it on to get a night time landscape shot, so I just turned it on and snapped.  The first and second ones were blurry from my unsteady hand.  Bummer. Then I thought, what if I purposely wiggle it, would it be completely white-washed?  Instead, it left a trail across the sky.   


As I was preparing to upload the photo, I found a shot I had taken from last night, before Danny and I went out to ring in the new year with some friends.  Seems the moonshine knows of my heart's delight.
